Third Party Software

ERGO interfaces with leading third-party radio control and software defined radio (SDR) solutions.

An extensive list of other radio and SDR that ERGO can control through third party software is provided in the FAQ. Watch a demonstration video of Using Ergo with SDR (2015).

How It Works

ERGO controls radios equipped with Serial Communications over a COM port (RS232). This includes virtual COM ports, which are used for interfacing with Third Party Software. If your computer does not have a hardware RS232 port, there are many USB-to-Serial converters available.

Please note that ERGO does not control the transmit function on transceivers. It is “receive only”.
